Having recently said goodbye to her kittens as they went away to loving homes, now it is time for one-year-old Onyx to find a forever-home for herself.

Onyx is a sweet-hearted and playful cat, and would make an excellent companion, especially for someone who is at home a lot to give her the love she deserves.

Milo is a very timid and shy cat, who needs to feel safe and comfortable before he is willing to show affection, so a lot of patience will be needed – but once you gain his trust he turns into a chilled-out softie.

The four-year-old cat is looking for a quiet, peaceful home without any children or other pets, although he may be OK with an older cat who is likely to leave him alone.

Cats Protection recommends that Milo is kept inside for at least three months, although they say that he would enjoy exploring a garden after this period has expired.

Tilly

Tilly, a beautiful long haired tortoiseshell, is slightly older than most of the cats on offer, being between eight and nine years old.

While her first instinct with new people is to his at them, once she gains confidence she loves a proper cuddle.

Tilly does not like dogs, and would suit an adults only home, with no other cats.

Franco

Bright-eyed Franco is two years old, and while he can be shy at first soon becomes friendly and has a tendency to 'nip' to get attention.

Franco has lived his life up until now as a mostly indoor cat, but Cats Protection thinks he would enjoy going outside to stretch his legs.

However, because of his inexperience with the outside world, this would have to be somewhere quiet, without busy roads.

While he isn't suitable to live with young children, he has experience with teenagers, and is happy enough with other cats though It is not known if he has ever met a dog.

A happy loving little lady, Jess was found outside, seemingly with no home after suffering a vicious wound to her tail. She was rushed to the vet, though because of the advanced state of the wound they had no choice but to amputate.

Jess is currently on a course of antibiotics to treat a bladder infection, which may reoccur, and when it is active she has a slightly leaky bladder.  However, she knows how to use her litter tray, and is very easy to medicate.

Due to the fact her current fosterers are unable to keep her, Jess is being offered as a sponsored cat – which means Cats Protection will cover her vet bills relating to these pre-existing conditions.

While Jess lacks a tail, she is not short on love to give and is an affectionate cat with a lot of character.
