Elizabeth 'Liz' May Mark

ELIZABETH 'LIZ' MAY MARK (née Lockett) Sadly passed away on 2nd April at Ipswich Hospital. Survived by husband George, mother of David and Peter, grandmother to Corrina, Keira, Robert and Scarlett. Will be missed by all who knew her. Remembrance service to be held at Bawdsey Church on 3rd May at 3 p.m. No flowers, donations to be made to the Suffolk Punch Trust c/o E B Button & Sons Ltd, 24 St Johns Street, Woodbridge, IP12 1EB.

Steve and I have very fond memories of Liz: her kindness to us as newcomers, her dry sense of humour, her willingness to get involved in new things and her lively interest in the wider world. The 'Peninsula' would not have got off the ground so quickly but for her commitment and typing skills. When we last saw her in 2023, although clearly unwell, she was the same 'Liz', battling through life's challenges, thoughtful and always caring of others. She was a 'Character', 'One of a Kind', but to us she will always be 'Liz' and we will always remember her. Sue & Steve Wright (Serendipity).
