28 November - 29 November.

The Tree Council's annual tree planting celebration, National Tree Week began in 1975 and has seen over 20 million trees planted since. It's the ideal opportunity to plant the right trees in the right places to benefit both the wider environment and local communities. To celebrate National Tree Week The East Anglian Daily Times have joined forces with a selection of local nurseries to offer readers some fantastic deals on trees.

Today's reader offer comes courtesy of The Place for Plants, East Bergholt Place, Mill Road, East Bergholt, Suffolk.

December is a great time to plant trees, giving them time to start rooting in before the spring. At The Place for Plants in East Bergholt you will find a huge choice, so whether you are after blossom, attractive fruit or Autumn leaf colour, and whatever the size of your garden there will be a tree for you.

Knowledgeable staff can advise on choosing, planting and caring for your tree. It is also a good time to plant hedging, and bare root plants are now available of native hedging species, Beech, Hornbeam, and yew. Also in stock are standard and fan trained fruit trees and soft fruit. Fruit trees make great Christmas presents, and can be held at the Plant Centre until Christmas. You will find lots more ideas for presents in the well-stocked shop, and home made wreaths, holly and mistletoe will be available nearer to Christmas.

As a special National Tree Week offer The Place for Plants are offering 10% off all trees purchased. To take advantage of this offer, simply present this voucher upon purchase.
