A 15-year-old girl has been charged with burglary after items worth £220 were stolen from a property on Lanercost Way, Ipswich, at about 4.55am on Saturday.
The youngster, from Montgomery Road, Ipswich, was arrested by police after she was detained by the homeowner.
She has been bailed to appear at the South East Suffolk Youth Court at 9.30am on Thursday.
