How important is price, delivery wait and time, and protection of the environment in deciding where to buy goods and sources?
Those are among the key issues businesses are being asked about in a new survey to find out how they buy goods and services as part of a project to help shape the Suffolk economy.
Suffolk Chamber of Commerce says it is keen to understand how the county's businesses procure goods and services and how they build their own supply chains.
In particular, the chamber wants to understand how important a local and regional supply chain is to all businesses.
Other questions focus on what the main priorities are for companies when deciding which suppliers to use, including price, delivery time and length of delivery.
The survey also asks how companies research about potential suppliers.
Having feedback direct from business will help to shape the Suffolk economy of the future.
