The first happened in Pound Lane, Little Blakenham, at around 8pm and involved a Ford Mondeo and a Mini.
A fire crew from nearby Needham Market and another two from Ipswich attended and released one male and one female casualty using hydraulic cutting equipment.
They were taken to hospital and a spokesman for Suffolk police said they suffered minor injuries.
The second accident happened at around 8.40pm in Coast Road, Corton, near Lowestoft, and involved a Ford Ka.
Three appliances from Normanshurst attended and used hydraulic cutting equipment to release one female casualty.
She was taken into the care of the ambulance service and a spokesman for Suffolk police said she suffered minor injuries.
