A DATE has been set for an inquest into the death of a popular 22-year-old who died in hospital four weeks after suffering serious leg injuries in a car crash.
James Leeks, of Nicholson Court, Newton Green, died on September 3, 2006, at Colchester General Hospital where he had been admitted following a two-vehicle collision on the A134, at Sudbury, on August 3.
Since his death, Mr Leeks' family have constantly questioned the treatment he received at the hospital and recently told the EADT that they hoped an inquest would finally give them the answers they crave.
A full inquest into his death will be held at the Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds on February 24, 2009.
