FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a blaze at an Essex business park this morning.
The fire started at about 10.20am at the Universal Services factory at the Beckingham Business Park in Tolleshunt Major, near Maldon.
Crews from Tiptree, Maldon, Chelmsford and Tollesbury went to the scene and found the factory to be heavily smoke logged.
The fire is thought to have started in the paint room and crews used breathing equipment and a hose reel jet as they extinguished the flames.
An Essex County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said firefighters were still at the scene damping down the area and putting out hot spots with the use of a thermal imaging camera.
