TWO people were treated for the effects of smoke inhalation following a blaze at a house in Diss in the early hours of this morning .
Two fire crews from the town and one from Eye were called at about 3.20am after reports of the fire at a private property in Croft Lane.
Firefighters spent an hour putting out the blaze, which had taken hold of a 10m x 8m section of the first floor of the house.
Paramedics were called to treat two householders who were suffering from smoke inhalation.
One crew from Diss and a fire investigation officer are set to return this morning to try and establish the cause of the incident.
