A SUFFOLK road has re-opened following a fatal road accident this morning.
A man was killed on the A144 at Bramfield after the car he was driving left the road and hit a tree.
Emergency services were called to the accident shortly after 9.37am to the main Bramfield to Halesworth road. The driver of the red Toyota car, which had crashed into a tree, near to the level crossing, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said he was believed to have been heading from the Halesworth direction to the A12.
The road re-opened at 1pm and police are appealing for any witnesses to call 01473 613500.
