FELIXSTOWE'S container port has been closed due to high winds with Operation Stack being put in place by police.
The port was closed at about 12.30pm today after a decision was taken that winds were getting too strong for it to remain open safely.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said Operation Stack will be in place for the time being to queue lorries waiting to use the port.
