A FED-up commuter has started his own blog after two weeks of “nightmare” travelling into London on the Ipswich-Liverpool Street line.
The 24-year-old financial journalist only set up the site this morning but already had a tale to tell from last night's journey home which saw him arrive back at his home in Colchester at 10pm - five hours after leaving his office.
He said he was breathing a sigh of relief after being allowed to work from home today but felt sorry for his fellow commuters who were braving the reduced service which could continue into tomorrow.
Having only started commuting two weeks ago, he was he was already “totally fed up” with the service and would be considering a move into the capital to avoid the trains.
The blogger said he hoped other travellers would leave comments on the site talking about their commuting experiences.
He added: “I intend to chronicle my struggle to get to work each and every morning and I hope my thoughts and feelings will inspire support, promote debate and scare those at the top.
“I've had enough - I hate National Express - and I intend to let them know!”
A spokeswoman for National Express said: “We do encourage customers to contact us so we can continue to improve our service, and would like to ask this customer to contact us so we can reply and explain the situation.
“We always work extremely hard to keep customers informed when these situations - which are often outside of our control - take place.”
