THREE people have been taken to hospital tonight after a serious car crash which has closed the A14 in one direction at Ipswich.
The accident, in which the car is believed to have flipped three times, occurred at around 8pm on the westbound carriageway of the A14 near to the Asda turnoff at Ipswich.
Suffolk police have closed down the slip-road to the carriageway on Bury Road while they deal with the accident.
It is believed three people who were in the car have suffered serious injuries.
Traffic on the A14 heading towards Bury St Edmunds is currently being diverted through the town to avoid the crash scene.
