GREAT Britain's golden day at the Olympics has got even better after Christine Ohuruogu claimed an exciting come from behind victory in the 400 metres.
Ohuruogu, the reigning world champion, blistered down the home straight to overhaul rival Sanya Richards and cross the line first.
It is Great Britain's first gold on the track, but 16th of the Olympics overall.
Earlier in the day, high jumper Germaine Mason won a silver in his event.
But Colchester's Sarah Claxton, who surprisingly made the 100 metres hurdles final, finished eighth in her race.
