AN Ipswich man today appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Trevor Lilley stands accused of trying to kill David Nicholls at the Grinning Rat public house in Ipswich's St Helen's Street.
The alleged offence took place on June 27.
The 56-year-old, of Bader Close, was not asked to enter a plea at Ipswich Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at court again on September 8.
