AN appeal for witnesses has been made after a man was left with a fractured skull following an incident in Ipswich.
The 54-year-old victim suffered serious head injuries in Hawthorn Drive on Sunday following an altercation just after 9pm.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw the incident.
The victim is currently in Addenbrooke's Hospital where he has undergone an operation.
A 39-year-old Ipswich man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH. He has been bailed to return to Ipswich police station on September 8.
