POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man they want to speak to in connection with a bogus caller incident in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were called after the incident in Nowton Road, Bury, on Monday evening after a man has called at the back door of a house and beckoned the elderly female resident to the rear of her garden.
He spoke to her at length about neighbours wanting to build a wall there.
After 15 minutes she returned to her house and saw a second man run down the side of the house shouting. Both males ran off into Nowton Road.
A large quantity of cash was then found to have been stolen.
The first man was white, 30 years old, 5ft 5 in tall, of medium build and wore a blue tee shirt, dark blue jeans and white trainers.
The second man was white, 30 years old, 5ft 8in tall, of medium build and wore similar clothing to the first man.
