A LIFEBOAT was called into action after a man was reported overboard in the river Orwell.The incident happened at about 2.20pm yesterday when the Harwich Inshore Lifeboat was launched to a report of a man over board from his 20ft yacht aground in the river.
A LIFEBOAT was called into action after a man was reported overboard in the river Orwell.
The incident happened at about 2.20pm yesterday when the Harwich Inshore Lifeboat was launched to a report of a man over board from his 20ft yacht aground in the river.
On arrival the man was found to be back onboard his yacht suffering from mild hypothermia.
He was transferred from the lifeboat to the rescue helicopter and was flown to Ipswich Hospital.
