Police are hunting thieves who raided a string of cars in west Suffolk villages.
A silver Volvo S40 was broken into at Oakey Field Road, Thurston, and a batch of compact discs was stolen. Then a purse was stolen from a Jaguar and a Mini in Borley Crescent in Elmswell, followed by the theft of nail gun and a speaker from a garage in Oakey Field Road in Thurston.
The next incident happened at The Green, in nearby Beyton, when a cutter device was stolen from a Ford Transit van, followed by a house break-in at Ryefields, in Thurston, in which cash, mobile phones and keys were stolen. The keys were used to steal a black Fiat Punto, registration AX03CNF, which has since been spotted in Ipswich. All incidents happened yesterday morning and are being linked by police.
