ALTHOUGH Danny Haynes claimed the glory, Richard Naylor was the architect of this impressive win at Palace.
It was fitting that Naylor should be at the heart of this win which epitomised the heart and character of the player.
The Blues took the lead seconds before the half time whistle when a Tommy Miller corner was cleared only as far as Naylor who volleyed goal-wards and it took a deflection on the way.
Haynes was swift to claim the goal racing to celebrate with the 2,000 travelling Town fans.
The goal was enough for Ipswich to claim their second successive away win, just days after losing their home record.
But the win was built on a solid foundation with Naylor also clearing off the line.
Along with the immense skipper Jason De Vos, a sterling showing from Dan Harding and Alex Bruce.
