FIRE-fighters were called out to rescue two girls who ended up stuck on the roof of a shelter.
One crew from Long Melford was sent after the call came in about the stuck children shortly before 4pm on Monday.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire Service said the incident happened in the park at Cordell Place and the crew used one ladder to get the girls down.
He said the girls, who were thought to be about 10 years old, climbed up onto the roof of the building but then became frightened of getting back down.
