IPSWICH will be hampered by a lack of goals in the Championship next season, bookmakers predicted today.
Betfred's odds show that they don't expect a Town player to feature in the top 30 marksmen at that level.
Watford's Marlon King and Kevin Phillips of West Bromwich share top billing at 10-1, with Charlton new boy Svetoslav Todorov and Southampton's two Polish stars, Grzegorz Rasiak and Marek Saganowski, both available at 12-1.
Former Colchester hit-man Jamie Cureton, the Championship's top scorer last term, is a 20-1 shot to repeat the feat now that he has returned to first club Norwich.
Ipswich pair Alan Lee and Pablo Counago are bracketed together as 33-1 shots to finish ahead of the rest, with Billy Clarke at 40-1, Dean Bowditch at 50-1 and, surprisingly, Jonathan Walters comes in behind as a 66-1 shot.
Also strange is that there is no mention of Danny Haynes, who was second only to 17-goal Lee as he netted seven times for Town last season.
Ex-Southend striker Freddy Eastwood, now with Wolves, is 14-1 to top the charts and Luke Varney, a £2m signing by Charlton from Crewe, is 16-1.
That same price is also shared by four Sheffield United players - Rob Hulse, Billy Sharp, Luton Shelton and Jonathan Stead - and Nathan Ellington of West Bromwich Albion.
