POLICE are today monitoring an illegal rave at a disused airfield.
An estimated 500 revellers invaded land at Parham airfield near Framlingham.
A police spokesman said the rave started at 12.45am.
He added: “We estimated there are about 500 people there and they have slowly and surely been dispereing thoughout the day.
“We are observing activities, there have been no arrests and no complaints made. It is in quite an isolated spot.”
A police presence is expected to be maintained.
