A MAJOR investigation was under way today after a 24-year-old man was stabbed to death and three others shot in Ipswich.
Police were called to reports a man had collapsed on the ground outside Zest nightclub, in Princes Street, at about 2.15am. Two hours later, the man from London was confirmed dead at Ipswich Hospital.
One person was also treated at the hospital for gunshot wounds after being hit in his shoulder, bottom and legs.
Two further men, from Stanway, were treated by Essex paramedics for gunshots wounds they said were sustained in Ipswich earlier that night. Police said they are treating this as a separate inquiry at this stage.
