MORE than 200 people cycled or walked through beautiful forestry during the weekend to help raise thousands of pounds for sick children.
The annual 11-mile cycle ride and six-mile walk for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) was held at Rendlesham Forest yesterday.
Sue Meader, Suffolk and north Essex community fundraiser for EACH, said: “We had beautiful weather and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
“We had all ages taking part and lots of families - one man even took part on the walk in a full dress dinner suit.
“Last year's event raised about £6,000 and we are hoping to beat that this year and see £8,000 to £10,000 come in.”
