THREE armed robbers terrified staff at a newsagents in a Suffolk village before demanding money and making off with the takings.The men, who were brandishing an old style double barrelled shotgun and two metre-long garden fence posts, stole cash from McColls newsagents in Poplar Road, Great Cornard near Sudbury.
THREE armed robbers terrified staff at a newsagents in a Suffolk village before demanding money and making off with the takings.
The men, who were brandishing an old style double barrelled shotgun and two metre-long garden fence posts, stole cash from McColls newsagents in Poplar Road, Great Cornard near Sudbury.
Unable to access the main safe the gang, who struck at 9pm yesterday, took the days takings and contents of the till before making off in a green Rover 216, which was later found abandoned in Sheepshead Hill.
