There is ongoing work to construct a new interchange and carry out improvement work on the A14 at Rookery Crossroads, Bury St Edmunds. During the work there is a 24-hour 40mph speed restriction in place, for the safety of drivers and roadworkers, with tidal contraflows and narrowed lanes.
