A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being hit by a Range Rover Evoque this morning.
Police were called to the junction of Surbiton Road with Bramford Lane, close to the East of England Coop, at 9.40am today.
The East of England Ambulance Service were also called to the accident, over fears the pedestrian may have more serious injuries.
They released a statement shortly after the collision.
It read: “A rapid response vehicle was called to a road traffic collision in Surbiton Road, Ipswich shortly after 9.40am this morning, Sept 28.
“One person was assessed, but did not require ambulance transport to hospital.”
The road was blocked but traffic is now running smoothly.
Police are still at the scene.
