Firefighters tackled a blaze on the outskirts of Ipswich, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
Crews from Ipswich, Woodbridge, and Bury St Edmunds were called at 9.15pm to reports of a fire at Rushmere Heath.
The fire was brought under control by 11.05pm and a spokeswoman for the fire service said it is believed to be a deliberate fire.
Three fire vehicles were still at the scene at 11.30pm.
