An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with a stabbing of a teenager at McDonald’s in Ipswich on Wednesday.
Rishawn Mohammed, of Hurricane Place, Ipswich, has been charged with wounding with intent and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.
Police were called at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 13, to reports that a teenager had been stabbed outside the McDonald’s fast food restaurant in Ravenswood Avenue.
He has now been released from hospital.
The 18-year-old was remanded in custody overnight and will appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday, June 16.
A 17-year-old boy from Ipswich charged with possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis in connection with the same incident appeared before at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was bailed to return to magistrates on Thursday, June 21.
