Burglars were disturbed by a person sleeping on a sofa following an break-in at a house in Ipswich.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at a property in Fircroft Road between 11pm and midnight on Easter Monday.
Suspects gained entry to the semi-detached home by using an implement on a locked UPVC door.
While inside, they were disturbed by a sleeping resident on a sofa in a living room within an annex on the side of the main house and fled.
Nothing was stolen in the incident.
