The Felixstowe Fairtrade Forum has come up with an unusual way of promoting events for the upcoming Fairtrade Fortnight.
The phone box, which is owned by the Felixstowe Society now sits on the cliff top and has been adorned with reminders for the upcoming event.
Chairman of the Felixstowe Society, Jan Garfield said:“We were very happy to respond when the Fairtrade Forum approached us to use the phone box to advertise its events.
“I am proud that the Felixstowe Society was instrumental in preserving this traditional artefact and am pleased to see it being put to good use.”
Fairtrade Fortnight will take place between February 26 and March 11.
A launch event will take place next Monday with the Mayor of Felixstowe Nick Barber at Trinity Methodist Church at 11.15am.
It will be preceded by a Fairtrade Walk starting at the Spa Pavillion at 10.30am.
