A balaclava-clad robber threatened staff at knife point at an amusement arcade in Ipswich town centre at the weekend.
A man entered Palace Amusements in Upper Brook Street at 1.50am on Sunday and threatened staff with a knife, demanding money.
A sum of cash was handed over.
The offender then threatened a customer and also stole cash from him, police said.
Detectives investigating the incident now believe the suspect cycled through the town centre immediately after committing the offence.
The victims were very shaken but nobody was injured.
The suspect is described as a tall and thin white man with a tanned complexion.
He was wearing a black jacket with the hood up, blue tracksuit bottoms with three white stripes down the side, black ankle high shoes with a white band around the sole, a green peaked cap and his face was partially hidden by a white face-covering.
To help police, call 101 quoting reference 64287/17.
