Best Days Vintage in Ipswich put on a window display with a difference last week – replacing its mannequins with live models.
Models Ben Butler and Darcy Hughes donned some of the store’s special festival-wear ahead of V Festival in Chelmsford this weekend, and took to the shop’s window to bring the display to life.
The hour-long fashion show also helped raise money for the Robin Cancer Trust.
Steve Hurdle of Best Days Vintage, said: “It went very well – there were a few surprised people when the models moved but it was all good fun and in a good cause too.”
The Sailmakers Shopping Centre where the store is based said it prides itself on innovation, with the Best Days display following table tennis tables being put up in the mall for the summer.
Sailmakers manager Mike Sorhaindo, added: “It’s always good to see our tenants being innovative and Best Days Vintage have certainly put on a good show.”
