It’s not just us humans that enjoy this time of year. We are sure your cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, birds and horses are full of festive spirit as well.

We have already seen some great entries including a dog dressed as an elf and a whole family of dogs donning festive get up.

Here are some of the entries we’ve received so far.

You have still got time to send in pictures of your loveable chums getting into the festive mood. Be sure to send us your pictures of the most adventurous costumes possible.

You can tweet them to us at @EADT24 or @IpswichStar or email them to our picture desk.
