Tens of thousands of people have shared an online appeal to trace a missing Ipswich woman – not seen since she left home on Friday morning.

The search for Jordan Thompson will enter its fourth day tomorrow, with social media users posting and re-posting an online plea to help find the 26-year-old, who disappeared from home at 6.30am on November 11.

However, there has been no sighting of Miss Thompson, or her car, since Friday morning. By this evening, a photograph of the smiling former Kesgrave High School pupil had reached more than 30,000 Facebook users – some making direct appeals for her safe return, including one message that read: “Jordan, if you read this; please, please get in touch”. Another said: “Jordan, If you read this; we love you so much, and miss you. Come home”.Police launched a missing person search on Saturday afternoon, when officers said they were concerned for the welfare of Miss Thompson – asking anyone who may have seen her to get in touch by calling 101. She was last seen by a relative in Ipswich, and had been due to go to work on Friday, but has since made no contact with family, friends or the police.Suffolk Constabulary released a description of Miss Thompson, and the clothes she was wearing at the time of her disappearance, in an effort to establish her whereabouts.She is white, 5ft 6in, of slight build, with dark brown, curly hair. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a burgundy polo shirt and black trousers. Miss Thompson is being considered a ‘high-risk’ missing person because her disappearance is so out-of-character.Police are asking anyone who has seen Miss Thompson, or who has any information on her whereabouts, to contact Suffolk police on 101 and ask for the duty sergeant at Ipswich.
