A young woman was knocked unconscious and rushed to hospital in a hit-and-run in Ipswich last night.
The collision took place in Fore Hamlet and is believed to have involved a red Audi A3, police said.
The female pedestrian, in her 20s, was initially knocked unconscious and taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment after the fail-to-stop collision at around 7pm. She sustained swelling and bruising.
Police are investigating to find the vehicle involved, which may have sustained damage as a result of the collision.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the crash and anyone who may have information about the vehicle or driver involved.
