A quiz night hosted by Barclays in Woodbridge raised more than £1,200 for the Papworth Trust recently.
Dozens of people turned out to support the event, held at Seckford Golf Club, and between them raised £600 which was then match funded by Barclays.
Branch manager Sarah Deal said: “We are really pleased with how the quiz night went.
“I had hoped that we might raise £300 so to double that is just a great sign of how generous our community is.
“I have worked closely with Papworth Trust over the last few years and seen first-hand the difference they make to disabled people in our area.”
Jo Revitt, from the Papworth Trust, said: “We would like to thank everyone who supported the quiz night as well as the Barclays staff for organising it and Simon Jay, from Seckford Golf Club, our fantastic quizmaster.”
