A western themed garden party saw residents at Bucklesham Grange care home don cowboy and Indian costumes as they hosted judges from the Hallmark in Bloom competition.
The contest, which judges the gardens of Hallmark care homes across the country, has a category for best celebration on judging day.
To mark the event, the home hosted a party with a saloon bar and a treasure hunt in the garden.
Lifestyle Leader, Kirsty Thomas said: “The gardens were gleaming this year on our judging day and the residents and team had great fun celebrating by dressing up as cowboys and Indians and enjoying tasty treats from our outdoor saloon bar and western themed BBQ.
“In the afternoon everyone sieved for gold and played garden games, tin can alley and catch a cactus whilst having their picture taken for the most wanted villian.
“We are keeping on green fingers crossed for yet another title this year.”
Bucklesham Grange won the innovation to engage people with dementia title in the Hallmark in Bloom competition last year.
