Two fire crews have tackled a blaze in a shipping container at a site in Henley Road, Ipswich.
The incident was reported to fire control at 8.08pm and a crew from Princes Street Fire Station was sent to the scene.
On arrival, firefighters found a large shipping container filled with rubbish alight, along with more rubbish in the surrounding area. A second crew was called to assist in the operation.
A fire service spokesman said: “Crews quickly asked for a second crew to attend for help with water. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“This incident was under control by 8.40pm and both crews were back at station by 10.08pm.”
