There’s another mammoth event at Foxhall Stadium on Saturday night when Spedeworth/Incarace Motorsports proudly presents the Steve O’Dell Testimonial Meeting.

It features another triple-formula night with formulas very close to Steve’s heart, the fast and furious 1300 Stock Cars, ultra-competitive Stock Rods and the return of the mighty National Saloon Stock Cars.

It’s quite incredible to think that O’Dell has been racing some 35 years, but since announcing his retirement, it now gives an opportunity to pay respect to a man that has entertained the fans so much.

It starts with the 1300 Stock Cars and at time of press, there is a superb entry of 59 drivers producing a ‘who’s who’ of the formula across the promotions including Andrew Mathiewson, Craig Haxton, Peter Low and Fraser Clark traveling down from Scotland to join this amazing event.

The 1300 Stock Cars are also contesting Round Two of their brand new Series for 2016, the Motor Parts Direct Super Series.

Moving on, we have the Stock Rods, in which Steve’s son Dean is the current World Champion.

The ultra–competitive Stock Rods are competing in Round 3 of their Polleysport/Yokohama Tyres Series.

There are currently 35 of the best in this formula booked to appear including multi–champion Andy Sturt, Eric Walker, Dean O’Dell and Stuart Smyth – a fantastic six travelling down from Lochgelly, Scotland again in the form of Siobhan Martin, Jonathan Latkka, Chris Latkka, Derek Conner, John - Lee Green and Darren McAlpine.

Last but by no means least is the return of National Saloon Stock Cars.

We are being blessed with a fantastic entry which at time of press has hit the 47 mark, including World Champion Simon Welton, National Points Champion Danny Colliver, plus those known for ‘entertaining’ including Tommy Barnes, Casey Englestone and Michael Allard.

Details are still being finalised but we have secured a superb Sponsorship across all three Formulas from Kustom Racewear, Copart Ltd, Print 4U, Chris Berry Photography, Scott Harrington, the aforementioned Motor Parts Direct and Polleysport/Yokohama.

There is production of a limited number of Official Souvenir Programmes for this meeting and we would encourage everyone to get Steve to sign it for you during the pre-meeting autograph signing.

Racing starts at 6.45pm and turnstiles open at 5.30pm. Facilities include two fully seated grandstands along the back straight, and a brand new grandstand for those who are disabled or who have special needs.
