Police are investigating claims a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in an Ipswich alleyway.
Officers were called yesterday to reports the girl had been attacked in an alleyway off Spring Road on Wednesday, March 2.
The victim had been walking along the alleyway when she was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her, it is claimed.
Suffolk Constabulary has a cordon at the scene while investigation work is carried out.
Specialist trained officers are speaking with the victim to establish further details about the incident.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact Suffolk police on 101.
