A man from Kent who died after a collision on an Ipswich industrial estate yesterday has been named by police.
Tony Barnes was 33-years-old and from Greenfield Close in Eccles.
Police were called to Latimer Close on Ransomes Europark yesterday around 4.40am to reports a man had been found trapped between a lorry and a gate at the entrance to a site there.
Mr Barnes was pronounced dead at the scene. In a tribute his family said: βHe was a much loved son, brother and boyfriend β a gentle giant with a heart of gold, who will be missed by all.β
Nobody else was involved in the incident. Police are investigating exactly what occurred and an inquest will be held in due course.
Anyone who may have information should call Suffolk police on 101.
