Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery at a betting shop in Ipswich.

It happened yesterday, November 29, around 6.40pm in Foxhall Road.

Three men entered the shop and one man demanded money from the staff.

They raised the alarm and all of the men fled the shop empty handed.

They ran along Foxhall Road and then into Derby Road in the direction of Felixstowe Road.

One of the men was carrying what is thought to be a crowbar. No-one was injured during the incident.

All of the men had their faces covered and one of the men is described as wearing a bright blue jacket and carrying a mauve coloured carrier bag.
