Comedian Paul Foot is coming to Red Rose Chain’s The Avenue.
With a series of five star reviews and nominations under his belt, he’s known for his subversive, insightful absurdity.
He’s a familiar face on shows like Would I Lie To You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The Alternative Comedy Experience. His fans include Noel Fielding, a recent visitor to Ipswich himself, who says: “It’s baffling to me Paul is not a household name in this country. His routines are like jazz clusters, loose hammocks, choked to the brim with jokes and ideas.”
Red Rose Chain’s artistic director Jo Carrick adds: “Paul Foot is the most exciting comedian I could possibly imagine, we love him and we are extremely excited about hosting his show at The Avenue.”
Paul Foot: Hovercraft Symphony in Gammon # Major arrives at The Avenue theatre, Gippeswyk Avenue, Ipswich, on June 12, 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale now.
