Seven beach huts have been broken into or damaged along the seafront at Felixstowe.
Police are investigating the incidents and appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious activity to come forward.
Some of the huts’ doors were jemmied open and the properties entered but nothing was stolen, while others were damaged but the doors held firm.
Police said the incidents along the prom in Undercliff Road East happened some time over Monday or Tuesday.
Hut owners have been advised not to leave anything valuable in the properties over the winter months.
Anyone with information about the damage to the huts is asked to contact PC Claire Roper at Felixstowe Police on 101, quoting FE/14/1827, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
