Ipswich Town striker Frank Nouble is keen to “run the show” at Coventry City, having scored on his Sky Blues debut in their 1-0 win over Gillingham on Friday.
Nouble, who joined Steven Pressley’s side on loan last week, scored the first City goal back at the Ricoh Arena, following the club’s absence, and that has whetted his appetite for more.
“I’m used to the high-pressing game because that’s how we play at Ipswich and I just want to show my qualities, which I think I did in the game, and get a bit fitter because I’ve not really played. And if I do that I think I can run the show,” Nouble told the Coventry Telegraph.
“I only found out on Thursday that I was going to start the game, having thought I might go on as a sub after 70 minutes or something.
“And then I had this dream that I scored on my debut. I played it through in my mind, coming back to the stadium and knowing that it would be such an emotional night for the fans.”
