Police are appealing for witnesses after two pubs were burgled.
The first happened in The County Of Suffolk pub in St Helens Street, Ipswich, between 1.30pm on Sunday and 12.30am on Monday. A till containing cash was stolen.
The second theft happened at The Lord Nelson pub in the town’s Fore Street at approximately 3am on Monday.
The offender – described as a white man, approximately 6ft tall and wearing dark coloured clothing including a hooded top and baseball cap – was disturbed by a resident and nothing was stolen.
Witnesses are sought. Call police on 101.
