Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick is in the running to win the Championship’s September Player of the Month award.
The 25-year-old has scored five goals this season, including four this month, with braces in the wins against Middlesbrough and Brighton.
McGoldrick faces stiff competition however, in the form of Reading midfielder Danny Guthrie, QPR goalkeeper Rob Green and Burnley defender Jason Shackell.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports Football League expert, Don Goodman, Football League Head of Communications, John Nagle, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins.
The winner will be announced tomorrow.
