Staff at Angelo Smith in Sudbury are celebrating after being crowned winners of the best dressed Christmas window competition.
The Sudbury Mercury linked up with the town council for the popular annual contest and the North Street jewellers scooped the top prize of a free advert in the newspaper.
Bazaar in Gainsborough Street finished runners-up while Number 72 and Oxfam shared third place.
The judging in the competition changed this year and each window was scored by both local judges and the public.
Everyone who voted in the competition went into a draw for a luxury Waitrose Christmas hamper and the lucky winner was Mike Holliday.
Ami Birrell, town centre manager and events coordinator at the town council, said: “We had some fantastic entries this year and if I had to choose a winner myself it would have been very difficult.
“Many members of the public commented on the creativity of the shop windows in Sudbury, which is really great to hear.
“The shop window display competition certainly adds that extra bit of Christmas to the high street and the local shops do a great job year after year.”
